To build a strong relationship within your team, you should create an environment enabling fun. Enabling your leaders to be enthusiastic, empathic, and friendly can lead the way to your people. In a pre-Covid environment, team building was common place. Now, with a dispersed workforce, it can be tricky to bring people together. As we move into the Summer, we are seeing more organisations organise the traditional get togethers, such as away-days and BBBQs. We are also seeing organisations focus on smaller events, such as a coffee morning, to encourage people to come back together in a casual way as they build up connections again. A fun activity can be a great ice-breaker to bring people back together.
